Greenhouse Harvest V3 (OAuth) Credentials Setup Guide

This guide walks you through creating Harvest V3 (OAuth) API credentials in Greenhouse for the Peoplebox integration. Prerequisite: You must have Site Admin permissions in Greenhouse to create API credentials. 1. Log in to Greenhouse - Navigate to the Greenhouse login page. - Sign in using your email address and password. - Once logged in, you'll be taken to the Greenhouse dashboard. 2. Open the Dev Center - Click the Settings (⚙️) icon in the top-right corner. - In the left navigation panel, scroll down to Dev Center. - Select Dev Center. 3. Open API Credential Management 1. From the Dev Center, click API Credential Management. 2. You'll see the available API credential types, including: - Candidate Ingestion - Job Board - Harvest - Harvest V3 (OAuth) 4. Create Harvest V3 (OAuth) Credentials 1. Click Create New API Credentials in the top-right corner. 2. Configure the following: - API Type: Harvest V3 (OAuth) 3. Click View and Store Credentials. 5. Copy Your Credentials Once the credentials are generated: 1. Copy the following values immediately: - Client ID - Client Secret 2. Store them securely in a safe location. 3. Check I have stored the client credentials and continue. Important: The Client Secret may not be visible again after this step. You'll need these credentials while configuring the Greenhouse integration in Peoplebox. Required values: - Client ID - Client Secret 6. Configure Required API Scopes 1. Open the Manage Scopes section. 2. Select Harvest. 3. Enable the following permissions: - Application Stages: List application stages - Applications: List applications & Move applications - Attachments: List attachments - Candidates: List candidates - Job Interview Stages: List job interview stages - Job Post Locations: List job post locations - Job Posts: List job posts - Notes: Create notes 1. Click Save after enabling all the required scopes. 7. Credentials Required in Peoplebox After completing the above steps, provide the following credentials during the Peoplebox integration setup: - Client ID - Client Secret 8. Important Notes - Each integration should ideally use its own Harvest V3 (OAuth) credentials. - Keep your Client ID and Client Secret secure. - Do not share your credentials publicly. - Only users with Site Admin permissions can create and manage OAuth credentials. - Ensure all the required API scopes listed above are enabled before proceeding with the integration.
